Well I had a blog entry all written out on Tuesday and it was good too. So yeah it never got publised. There was an error with the site or something and my computer is running strangely slow now. I can't believe I lost that entry because that was the day I sprained my ligament in gymnastics and put me in the emergency room for a leg supporter. Yeah it happened on a basic roundoff backhandspring and landed funny. So, I'm around on crutches and a leg support.
Today I didn't want to take the crutches into school. It would have been way to crazy and would have added more stress to the day plus one more thing to worry about. My leg was better so I lasted the day out with an ace bandage wrapped around my left knee and jeans to cover it. Surprisingly, I was fine. When I got home, I wrapped the knee and iced it (like I'm doing now) and we went to Staples for me to get some supplies. Now about the actuall school day...
I woke up feeling fine. I got this boost of confidence when I got out of bed and was able to walk around my room without any pain. I slept with my leg propped up on blankets. I got myself ready. It was around 6:00 when I got up and was downstairs at around 6:20. I poured a bowl of Count Chochula but it was too sweet too early so I think that was the first time I ever turned down a bowl of that. I'll have a pop tart tomorrow instead.
I'll make the day sound short and sweet because I want to get to bed. Homeroom was changed so I frantically searched through the list of the WHOLE DARN school and found it in the last few minutes before the bell. I was relieved. The classes went normally. Everything is good and the day went well except for the fact that they crammed two whole lunchs into a gym and we were all squeezed together. I was at the top of the bleechers. It was a bit annoying climbing up them but, like I said, my leg never really hurt that badly.
I stayed after school to take my honors english test and it was a bit hard. I survived though and got home and mom bought me a Wendy's burger. (Why does it always seem like I'm writing about how mom always buys us fast food????) I rested my leg and watched TV.
The Apprentice 2 and Big Brother were on tonight so I was just up watching them. I've got to get to bed now so I'll get a good night sleep. Hopefully, my leg will be healed next week. It won't be totally back to normal tomorrow. That's just hoping for too much.
