It was the third day of school today. I couldn't get to sleep last night at all and I ended up tossing and turning for over an hour and a half. I was literally tossing and turning and I even got up to do pushups and tire myself out. I wanted to sleep but couldn't. Maybe it was because my room was so hot too. But anyway, I got to sleep and it seemed like only two hours went by before dad was at my door asking me when I was getting up. Needless to say, I got up then.
School is fine. After going to the first day for around 10 years now, it's starting to feel the same. So, these first couple weeks don't feel too much different than they did last year. School is school no matter when or where you go.
I've got a bunch of work for English II Honors. That's going to be one tough course and I'll be on my toes keeping up. Already, I have to be on top of everything considering we've received an essay, which is due tomorrow, a big project on our summer books, a vocabulary lesson to be turned in Friday, and that test we took on the first day of school.
I want to go back to gymnastics this week really bad but I just don't think I'll physically be able to handle it tomorrow. Yes, my leg is better. I can walk normally on it now for the most part but I run into trouble bending it backwards. That's hurts a little bit. Especially, coming down stairs.
I'm actually going to wrap this up and head off to bed now. I need the sleep and getting in early might help me fall asleep faster. I don't know. We'll find out soon though. :)
