Time sure does pass quickly.
Here we are in June already and school is beginning to wrap up. It's hard to believe that this week is my last full week already. Time does pass quickly.
It was a pretty normal weekend.
All this week had been really hot and sticky in school with thunder and lightning every night. I haven't been doing too much these days in school. The only class that I'm productive in is the last one of the day--Chemistry. The rest of the time I'm simply sitting in a health class ('nough said) or Spanish (enough said) or Science Fiction class with Star Wars movies (you get my point) Coming home, there's not much I have to attend to. My job at Borders will start my first official day of summer, June 19. Until then, my after school hours are completely open. I've gotten quite used to it too.
So anyway, Saturday for me was spent with Missy helping her look for a job. We checked out Kohls and Home Depot and then went back to her house and watched a movie. I also spent a lot of time working on mom's birthday gift for today...Happy B-Day Mom...and doing stuff on the computer. I've been trying to burn a DVD lately but that's beside the point and a whole other long story.
Today, like I said, was mama's day. I ran some errands with dad and did random things around the house. Rachel and Reid had constant friends over and I swear there's like a magnet over our house or something. Every time I look out my bedroom window, there are 2 more kids running around than there were the previous minute. I don't understand it but maybe it's because I was never and still am not that sociable. Plus, not many of my friends are in the neighborhood anyway so it's not like an everyday occurance like it is for them. Whatever.
We went to Charlie Browns for dinner then came back to the house here for the cake and presents. Nice time.
I'm kinda pressed on time now and I want to get to bed. Wrapping this up, I've got a nice and easy half day tomorrow (what else is new) so I'm definately bringing a book or something in my backpack just to leave in for when I run out of things to do. It should pass the time in prep or what not.
I'm sorry if this blog is becoming...how do I say it..."one dimensional." I know it's like the same thing every time I write with more quick summeries and daily nothings rather than insightful or detailed accounts.
Not that I planned to do that every time anyway...that's just crazy.
Not counting tomorrow:
