Life. It [Continues]

Today was a mixed day. For one, I'm soooo glad that it is the weekend and I'm not completely loaded with homework. It's actually an acceptable load due Monday. Due Tuesday is a whole other story. But I'm not worrying about that now. I just want to sleep in tomorrow. I was real happy up until 8:50 tonight when one of my favorite Big Brother players ever was evicted and lost her almost guaranteed shot at winning it all. It was really depressing and I know it's just a game but I grew really attached to this show over the summer and all the people in it just from seeing them almost every day on the computer. I feel like I know these people and it's really weird. I guess that's why it is more than just a show for me. I truly wanted Janelle to win. Unfortunately things aren't perfect. In my Utopia, she would have won it all. But, I've got to live with it.

It seems like just yesterday that I was sitting here watching 14 houseguests get to KNOW EACH OTHER. Now I'm watching the final two walk around an empty house. It's so strange. I've followed their experiences from day 1. It's sad to see it end. I'm going to miss this when it's over.

I would go to watch Survivor but now that I think about it, I don't feel that those contestants measure up to what I've been watching on Big Brother. With Survivor, I feel like I've seen it all already and I will admit, the show is getting a bit redundant for me. I mean it's the 11 season. I'm getting tired of the same types of people, challenges, and Probst each year. It's like the more seasons they have of it, the more it becomes ineffective. Like mom always says, it becomes like an exclamation mark. When you use it too often, it loses its effect. That is what I've hit with Survivor. There have been too many seasons and I won't remember the contestants on this season in 4 months time just like I don't remember the contestants from a year back on Survivor.
I won't forget anyone on this BB6. I am sad to see it end.


Don't take this as crazy but, on the positive side, there are only 296 days to go until Big Brother 7. :)
