What a weekend this is shaping up to be.
Let's start with Thursday mmkay?

Classes finished painlessly. Thursdays are only Sociology and College Composition. Nothing hard there. I don't remember if that was the day but I had breakfast at Don's Bagels twice this week.
Good stuff.

Alright so it was a relaxing day basically. No stress to rush home the following day, no worrying about staying out too late. It was nice.

I believe I woke up around 10:30 Friday morning..oh and no roommate either..showered and went out for bagels. (Yeah this was the second day) Hung out a bit, attempted some homework, probably watched another movie, did some reading, played some wii, basically occupied myself till everyone was out of class.
So major planning was going down for the night. Candice and Ashely were coming down to see Rowan perform Spring Awakening at 8 and I anticipated for afterwards going somewhere else provided the show got out on time.
To start, the show was..different. weird. slightly strange. disturbing? Yeah I don't know what those crazy Germans were thinking when this piece was written way back yonder, but I can say THANK GOD for Duncan Sheik and Steven Sater. What a difference music makes to turn a depressing story into an energetic rock musical. Half the time I was just waiting for them to burst out in song and I swear when Melchoir and Moritz were having their conversation over the table, I was almost CERTAIN I would hear the CLASSIC:
"Where I goooo,
When I go therrrre."
Lo and behold, I was mighty disappointed. Mighty disappointed.
Overall, the play isn't something I would want to see again. Wayy too creepy, slightly boring, and just awkwerd.
Afterwards.......we stopped by the room...watched some Spring Awakening bootleg and then they left.
I went out with the usuals because I made it back in time. There's all ---------------this----------------in between and then before I knew it it's 3:00 in the morning and we're all hanging out still.
Ummm ooops?

Nah.

Plenty of time to sleep today. I think I got up around 10:45, which apparently was the earliest of us all. I don't like to waste a day so I never go past 11:00.
So I got up, showered, did some homework because I was bored, finished my book, sat at my computer, watched the movie of the book I just finished (aka The Kite Runner. It's exceptional but I already knew that cause it was my 1.5th time reading it. I'm practically A.D.D with books but that's another story) Aaaaand the saddest part is I didn't leave my dorm room until 6:00 this afternoon. That's just really hard to believe but I don't know where the time went. I got so much accomplished including another piece for creative writing, which I am quite proud of mainly because I'm in love with my sentences and images.
If I didn't already mention, that's my favorite part of writing - coming up with perfectly rhythmic sentences that flow each word from line to line.
If you've never tried it, I highly recommend doing so.
So much fun.
So much fun.

AND now.
Just came back from Barnes and Noble a bit ago cause I wanted to get out somewhere away from my dorm. Basically the same group minus one from last night came along with me. I was the only who bought stuff.
I was so excited and feeling inspired so I picked up the wonderful, "On Writing: A Memoir of the Craft" by Stephen King. I hear it's required down the road for my major so why not get a head start by 3 years? It's wonderful. I think I'm gonna start quoting it every now and then.
Then of course I couldn't buy just one book (A.D.D 'mmmember?) so I got a Chuck Klosterman. It's been an intellectual, trendy kinda day. I had to. I had to.

AND RIGHT now.
I'm jamming? rocking? chilling? out to some Sheik, LaMontagne, Ward, and others courtesy of the one and only "Mellow Chill"playlist.
If you don't have one, I highly recommend making one.
So relaxing.
So relaxing.
