The best way to sum up these past few days, or the last week for this matter, is very routine. In fact, it's feeling a lot like....hmmmm what's that word again.....oh yes.
School.
That six letter word has come back into my life a bit premature this year thanks to that lovable job at Borders. Now techinally, it's work not school but it sure feels a heck of a lot like it. Ready?
I've been getting up at around 6:45-7:00 in the a.m, packing my lunch, leaving and saying goodbye to mom may I add, dissapearing for the rest of the day secluded in a building, then coming home to summer homework, going to bed, and repeating the process. It's all very mechanical. Not trying to sound like a total bumm because yeah I AM getting paid and yeah I AM in a likeable atmosphere. I just don't like the whole package that comes along with it, which is the whole every day "cupcake mold" that everything falls into..... even though the filling inside the mold is kinda sweet and enjoyable -- different with every day's bite. The details in my day and the down time for relaxing things are very enjoyable. Not everything is completely out of whack.
Ok now that my tangent is done, I have to mention that it is actually really hot out again or at least it is where I'm sitting now. umhmmm
I don't know if I have anything better to say. I'm getting better at the whole cafe deal. It hasn't taken me as long to catch on as I thought it would have. Let's see. Tomorrow (8/16) will be my 5th day on the job at SBC. And because I keep track like that, I'll have been at Borders for 2 months come August 19 (The SBC official grand opening and 2 month mark from when I started the training) The first official work day I was there was like July 3 I think. The training lasted for two weeks from June 19.
Just useless stuff to know.
