So summer is less than 24 hours away. After one final tomorrow at 9:30, my vacation starts. I drove in this morning for my Spanish final. (Got an okay grade on it - 85) At first I was worried about driving in because parking is kinda hard to get when you don't have a spot. It turned out not too bad but it still wasn't completely easy. I had to drive around the campus and the development to turn around but I eventually got down a side street and took a walk to the school. It wasn't too bad so I'll be doing it tomorrow as well. At least I get to sleep in.
I cleaned out my closet today. I had papers in there from 6th grade. Wait I take that back. I didn't just have papers from 6th grade and on, I had every single paper, assignment, notebook, and binder all in the bottom of my closet. So I took a container, threw out most of the stuff, kept the graded essays and stuff worth keeping and now I should be good. As long as nothing builds up in there again.
We got a hot tub. Patio concrete is being poured so it will be awhile before we're in. Kinda excited about that...something to look forward to.
Good news. Big Brother 7 will have an opening show next week! It's my favorite time of the year and greatest association with summer. Then of course we'll be waiting until like the second week of July for live feeds and show. Again...something to look forward to.
Speaking of looking forward, I've got summer work to do.
My Summer Reading:
--Book of Mythology-- (May be interesting)
--Hamlet-- (One word, Shakespeare)
--Pygmalion-- (No clue. Another play)
--The Elements of Style-- (Book of grammer. Not much of an actual book)
--Catch 22-- (Amazing. My choice book. Already 100 pages in)
Then of course I have a binder to put together, analysis on the books, and terms to define but I'm not worried. Last years work was sooo ambiguous that I'm glad that everything is laid out word for word for me in a packet.
My Schedule for Next Year:
Semester 1
Block 1 - AP English
2 - Study Hall
3 - Physics
4 - Lunch
5 - AP Spanish V
Semester 2
Block 1 - Lit Mag
2 - Trigonometry
3 - Health / Gym
4 - Lunch
5 - Early Dismissal (Q4)
So that's how it stands. I don't see too much wrong with it unless I decide to switch to Pre-Calculas or something. That won't come until the first day so I'm pretty much set.
Next week is going to be hot. I'm ready for some heat. I haven't been in the pool in weeks.
Alright I've got a Chem final to study for now. I can't believe I'm wasting all this time. I heard it's a hard test.
