It's been a week so an update is indeed required.
This has been a "sickly" sort of week for me and everyone else in the family. Luckly, I didn't have the stomach bug like everyone else. I just had a brutal cold that I'm just getting over today. Friday was the worst. I considered actually missing a day of school for a "mental health" day, but I ultimately decided against it. I had a research paper due, a Spanish project to present, and a test in English and Spanish. Couldn't afford to miss.
So Saturday I had work and ugh that was painful. All I wanted to do was just sleep in and stay in bed. It didn't happen. I didn't come home until like after 7 because we stopped over at the rehab place for nana after. The worst part was I really really really had to go the bathroom but wouldn't go in the Burger King where we stopped to eat or at the hospital place. I held it.
Today was nice. I got my much needed sleep and a quiet house when everyone went to church. I did feel bad about not going, yes. But it felt SO NICE to just stay home and not worry about going anywhere for once.
I made plans with the gf to go the movies at 2:30ish. We went and saw Casanova. Before that though, oh man I had an inncident.
See, I had gotten a tracfone for Christmas and had yet to activate it. I figured I would need to do it before I left for the theater so that after the movie was out, I could use it to call home. Well, it turns out activation took oh 40 minutes! Sitting on hold took about 10 minutes then when the lady came on, I didn't even realize she was talking to me. I literally had to press the phone on my ear to make out what she was saying. It didn't help that she had THE heavyist accent in the world and I had to repeat, "exuse-me" enough times to get her angry.
Actually, she had no right to be angry. She was the one calling me ma'am the whole time. That's right. I endured the disrespect for the whole 40 minutes, but never bothered to correct her cause well for no reason actually. I didn't know what to say. This whole time I was on the phone I was going crazy because she had me putting code after code into my phone to get it minutes while I was supposed to be meeting Missy at the movie theater. Turns out, I did get there on time. But I never had time to get a shower or clean myself up. Dumb tracfone service taking too long. Figures.
Casanova was surprisingly better than I expected though we can't figure out why it was rated R. There was really no reason why it couldn't be like PG-13. Didn't matter.
And ya know I'm just realizing something. The whole time I was thinking I would need the tracfone to call home and have mom pick me up when I was ready, but mom never even picked me up. Missy drove me home. So technically, I didn't even have to register the phone.

Hah

She stayed over and ate dinner with us which was nice. These type of things don't happen too often with me. I normally don't find any time in my weekends, but today was great.
And I believe that about wraps things up. I've got some last minute homework to start now and preparations for tomorrow. Yay.
I need a picture in here somewhere..........

There we go....
:) :) :)
