It was such a busy weekend and so much went on that you would think I would be quick to post. Eh more like complete opposite. I didn't feel like taking the time to type anything.
It was important though and a milestone for the long run.
Yeah I got a car. A nice affordable used car. It's a 94 Nissan, white, and small. I was working on the homecoming float for junior homecoming when mom pulled up and brought me over to the person's house to see it. Well wouldn't you know that as soon as we pulled up, there was a dad and his son looking to buy it. Mom was in a panic because she really wanted me to get this car. I wanted it too but it wasn't looking good for us as the dad test drove it around once with his son. We were actually planning to leave when they came back and to our surprise, we found out that the son couldn't fit under the wheel. He was too tall. Nice. They didn't take it.
Long story short, we ended up buying the car within 20 minutes. It was a great deal, mom knew the seller's sister, and it was a car I liked. It's about time alright. I was getting tired of having to put off driving the van and truck. Now my excuse has run out.
I didn't get the car here until today because of the checking and banking and stuff like that. Dad drove it home. I checked it out. Things look good aside from a few minor details with the tires and the airbag. Nothing big. I'm ready to drive it.
I am looking forward anxiously to the 4 day weekend coming up. Though it will be weighed down a bit with a darn essay to write and a document based question for ap history, I'm ready for it. The week just started.
