Life. It [Continues]

Today was dad's birthday. I'm sorry I never got around to coming up with a present but I was out of ideas for one. Also, I didn't even realize how close dad's birthday was when I remembered. So yes I'm sorry I never got around to it but when I think of something good for next year I'll be sure to do it.
Yesterday, Harry Potter came out. I wanted to go to the midnight realease badly but had to settle for the 8 a.m. copy instead. It was no big deal. Maybe I was better off because the idea of dressing up as a wizard seemed really stupid to me. The day I got the book, I read about 150 pages. It's really good. That's also the day we found a car that I want. It's a used Saturn that's for sale at a gas station. I like the look of it and the way it is. Whether or not we'll actually go through with it, isn't up to me. We may end up just looking around more.
I've got work again tomorrow. The highlight of my weekend though was definately waking up early for Harry Potter and going out to the mall with mom. I was up at 6:00 that morning and the excitement I feel can only be described as like the morning of Christmas. That anticipation feeling only comes once every 2 or so years when the new book comes out. Too bad there's only one more book left in the series.
