Okay so last night I wrote this whole nice thing about the day before my birthday and it sounded really good. I went to publish it and there was some error with my internet or something. I lost all that I wrote. I was angry and that explains the short little blah that ended up being last night's entry.
But today was my birthday. It was the big day. I woke up when I heard the floor creak thinking it was someone coming to wake me up to go out to breakfast. That was the plan. Turns out, it was mom putting signs on my door and streamers hanging down but I wasn't supposed to hear her. Ooops. Too bad I'm a light sleeper and will wake up every time someone walks across that floor. When mom came in my room to put more signs up, I held in a laugh but continued to fake sleep. Mom saw past it and I was soon attacked with a kiss and a big happy birthday.
It's not every day you get woken up like that...
So we went out to Dunkin Donuts before school started and I had a nice sausage egg and cheese sandwhich. We had to quickly eat because of being pressed for time so I was feeling a bit sick arriviing at school. That's okay because I quickly walked it off by going across the school to drop off my art folder to the D wing. What I'm trying to say is, I had a long walk with a 5 pound book bag on.
In tutorial, I received some birthday wishes and a hug from Katy.
The day went on pretty normal actually. I got occasional happy birthdays in classes and it's funny because once one person says it, everyone around you says it because they hear and it just goes around the room. That happened in math class.
Did I mention? It was the last day of gym. What better present than that??
After school, I had gymnastics practice which was pretty normal. I tired myself out though with conditioning. I felt like pushing myself for some reason so I'm thinking I'll be sore tomorrow.
Speaking of tommorrow, I've got finals for English and Math so I spent a little bit of time studying. I probably could have put more time into studying but I think I'll be okay. I eiter know it or I don't by now...
So about tonight, I got all my presents when I came home from gymnastics. Even though I could kinda figure out that mom got me socks, I was still surprised to see she had bought me The Da Vinci Code. Actually, Riley opened that present for me without me knowing. Dad gave her a timeout and she got upset. I think she wants her birthday...
All in all, it was a very good day. I got my phone calls from family and the birthday song from grandma. Nana came over before I had gymnastics and gave me her gift.
The day went by so fast and there was so much that went on today it's hard to mention everything. I'm trying to stay as brief as possible because I've got to get an early bed for finals tomorrow. I actually should be getting rest now so ,with that, my 16th birthday is officially over.
Thanks everyone for making it so special.
