I took a trip to Washington DC today to vistit the Holocaust museum. The trip was offered to most 10th grade English classes and first 90 or so with permission slips got to go. Needless to say, I made the trip but I'm not sure if it was all worth it. The trip itself was very educational. I learned a lot about the time period and the whole experience was very captivating. The people that were with me was where I had my problem. See, not all classes were honors like me. (sound conceited?) A lot of the kids were a bit disrespectful and inconcideret to the memorial. That was my main problem. Other than that, it was a nice way to spend time out of school. Oh yeah and the bus ride was like 2.5 hours long each way. To be honest, the trip was more of a bus ride than anything else. We got back around 5:15 this afternoon and left 6:30 in the morning. We were only in the museum for about 2 and a half hours tops. You do the math.
Got gymnastics practice tomorrow. I missed diving practice today. American Idol starts next week so I'm looking forward to that. Thursday is a half day this week and hmmmm let's see...15 days till my birthday! I thinking I might do something here at the house the weekend after but the only problem is I've got gym meets almost every weekend this month. We'll have to work something out.

More useless countdowns of mine:
179 more days till Big Brother 6
311 more days till the Harry Potter 4 movie
128 more days till Star Wars Episode III
