I bought myself a writing computer.
I'm using it now.
My hope: I'll increase my productivity. I'll feel more eager to write stuff. I won't have to unplug my macbook from the millions of wires I've got hooked up every time I need to do a paper.
So I bought a netbook.
It's a Dell Inspiron mini.
And so far...so good. I'm definitely not a windows fan. This is going to take some getting used to. And as I'm typing, I'm noticing that my "e" key makes an obnoxious squeeeeeeeek and all the other keys are a bit too loud for my taste. My wrists hurt because there is no support. But everything else seems to be cool.
I'll work this stuff out.
I'll make this work out. I don't want to have bought this for nothing.
