This was one of my most packed weekends of enjoyment I've had in a long time. Starting Friday night at a friends party and going all the way to a couple of hours ago at the movie, I really enjoyed doing stuff other than homework and essays. Most of it was due to no history homework because we had a really big test on Friday. Hopefully I did good on that because it was really hard but I think I nailed it. I should get that grade back this week. Anyway, that Friday night party was a blast. The living room was cleared out leaving only an open floor and the DJ area. His dad works as a DJ so we had a awesome time dancing. If it wasn't for the disco lights going in the living room, I would have accidently knocked on the door next to his house because I didn't know which was the right house. Like I said, it wasn't hard to not notice. The music was blaring.
The funny thing was that I had PSATs the net morning real early. So I got out of bed real grumy real early on a Saturday to go take the same darn test that I took last year as a sophomore. I don't think I improved or got worse. It's probably the same average score. Doesn't matter too much. It's the real SATs that count. I'll most likely end up with that test in a couple months. Joy.
After the test, I went home and relaxed. The first time I got to relax since Friday afternoon. It was sweet. Then I got a call from another friend to spend the night over his house. I can't remember the last time I actually had a sleep over before yesterday. I guess that age is kinda ending. We were up late as usual in the living room watching a movie that we all fell asleep on. I was the first one up but I never like to show it so I faked slept every time I saw his parents look in the room. That was kinda funny. I laid there until someone got up, which was about 25 minutes later. I didn't even get the time to eat breakfast because dad came to pick me up literally one minute before it was ready. Err that was annoying. I ended up going home and eating a poptart when I could have had bacon and eggs. Oh well. No big deal.
I was at the movies tonight seeing Corpse Bride. Afterwards we walked to Barnes and Noble and acted like the bright and intelligent teenagers we are by discussing classic literature while drinking coffee. No lie. I felt sophisticated among all the adults in the coffee area and the lady who worked there was really funny and hyper on coffee. I wonder why....
So now I'm home finishing up some English and Spanish homework. Not too thrilled because it feels like a Saturday. Tomorrow's gonna be a long day. Heck, this week is going to be long. The weekend is homecoming. Can't wait for that...I guess.
